So it’s much much harder to type or write anything with this handicapped laptop. However, since I don’t really want the money I spent on this site to go to a waste so fast, I guess I’ll just make do with whatever I can do.

I’ve not been the type of girl that takes pictures of everything so I guess it’ll be pretty wordy… or not. I am a lazy person too, and with this handicap, even more lazy. In fact, if not for the fact that I’m so bored at home, I would probably just end blogging now. But I am, so oh well.

I’ve been trying to push myself to the limits so far. Two jobs, School (and hopefully projects), and trying to make time for people. It’s still pretty manageable so I decided to look for a 3rd job. I don’t know how I’ll find one but I hope the ones I applied replies to me. I guess.

To be frank, there’s not much to update really.

I love my jobs so far and my school’s pretty okay, especially with my best friend in the same class as me. HEHEHEHE <3

I just have to see how long this will last, I do have a reputation of not being able to stick to anything I decide to do in life. Hmm, maybe that’s why I’m so reluctant to really commit in a relationship or something around there. *coughcough*haven’tfoundtherightone?*coughcough*

It’s depressing to see some of the people I had school with graduate without me though, but if we’re all good friends we’ll still meet up. I hope?

I never was a patient person to begin with. If ever, I became patient with you, it’s either my choice (or fault) or I found something to entertain myself and forget about being impatient. Usually it’s the former. For example, I wouldn’t waste money by going back and forth if the timings of my schedule was different.

Like recently, I waited at least 2 hours for a friend. And what did I do? Nothing really. I just walked as slow as I could, and sat as long as I could. It was boring but I managed to find a 2nd-hand book shop. So all hell remained inside.

Anyway, I guess I should be used to it by now but it really annoys me when someone confirms a plan or something with the time and location stated, and then casually disappear. I mean, a simple “hey, we might not be meeting” is fine. Granted, I probably did that before myself, but it’s usually cause I forget and it’ll be nice if reminded by as well.

Either way, it’s annoying. I get all ready and done, then suddenly, nothing. What a douche move.

To think on the bright side, at least I look pretty even though I might not have anything on, but still, it’ll be nice to be warned so I don’t really have to waste my time and doll up. Well, kind of.

However, since I don’t really want to waste money by going out and not really doing much, so I’ve been staying home and well, enjoying life. Let’s just go with that. It’s really hard to enjoy life though, I realized. It’s not as … satisfying as it should be, yet it’s really awesome. So, I don’t know how to explain bumming around well.

I went for a job interview at East Coast Road and I thought, hey, I’d look pretty for it. Up my first impression a little bit. I don’t know whether they’ll hire me because it seems unlikely. Hopefully they would because it seems pretty cool and convenient too. I love buses.

Anyway, I liked the way I drew my eyeliner, and well, my face get-up. When I got home, I didn’t really want to waste it. So I decided cam-whoring. Ah, hasn’t it been somewhat of an a while. If you get what I mean. no-kinky. 

When I usually choke my pictures folder, I like to make funny faces at my camera. Or in a better and easier way to say it, whenever I rape the camera button, I like to make funny faces instead of trying to get pretty ones. Kid’s got to entertain herself, right? So I did.

I did a series in which I tried to show the action of smiling from a weird ass look. This might make my so called ‘reputation’ go down if ever found (which is likely in the future, when someone wants to blackmail me or something) but it’s real funny and I’d like to remember this if I ever get an amnesia or whatnot. 

I’m so cute ~ hehehehe … and weird. and freaky.

I saw a page from my notebook before about how I plan to go to South Korea and live there for a week or so. All I need is $4K. Holy shit, I can’t even keep $50 in my bank, let alone $4k. I think I’m doomed for the future really.

However, I’m really really blessed to have the people that I care for around me. Though I don’t talk to majority of them daily but I guess, even with that, it doesn’t feel like we’re really just going to stop talking to each other for real. Well, hopefully not.

I really need to stop procrastinating or at least lessen it from 140% to 100%. (Yes, it’s a 9gag percentage thing) So at least it’s 40% lesser procrastination in my life, does that even make sense? I need to buck up. I need to wake up. I need to man up.

I honestly don’t know how many times I’ve said this. I predict, a few months from now, that I’ll be blogging the exact same thing. Ridiculous really. I went to the temple with my best friend (just for extra luck) and I did that thing where you shake the holder and a stick will come out and it kind of tells you if what you asked has a good or bad outcome? Yeah, I don’t really know what it’s called. I got a good outcome, so hopefully it is true.

I know I know, I’m a catholic. But that doesn’t mean I don’t have the free will to just check out other religions right? Okay, maybe I don’t. I’m not exactly strict with my religion. I don’t dis other people’s religion either. It’s to each his own, isn’t it? I’m pretty open-minded to these kind of things. Just hope that it won’t really bite me back in the ass when I’m at the pearly white gates.

And just recently, someone did intrigued me. No, nothing to really congratulate about or what not. 

See, for the weekend, I hung out with this person and although we have quite vocalized differences, he still intrigued me. Maybe it’s because I’m weird like that. I wanted to get to know more about him but yet I’m too shy to ask or more of, I’m a bit afraid to tread on any topic because he has his bipolar moods. By right, that should already put me off. It didn’t. Weird.

I guess if I were to be completely honest. I liked the fact that he was pretty straightforward with the things he said. His opinions. You know how I like guys with opinions of their own that they vocalize so boldly. His seriousness. The way he jokes around. Even his mood swings. It’s probably because of the fact that when he’s so serious, he looks scary or gives that aura, that makes me feel like I should listen if I were to be told to stop smoking or doing something. Yet, because of my stubbornness and unwilling to give in, I wouldn’t really listen. I know, I contradict myself.

But like what my best friend said to me, I deserve better. I deserve that someone that will accept me for who I am and find me perfect as it is.

The only part I hate is the moving on phase from liking someone that’s (sadly) always in your mind for the meantime.

I still like you and will like you for a while …

… ah well, time to move on.

Very often when we are choosing from so many different degree options in a university, we all hope that we can take up more than one option.

If you have this opportunity to choose between the lists of double major degree programmes that Kaplan offers, how best would you use this skill to advance your life’s goals?

I’ll answer that question … in a while.

Let’s talk about me.

I’m one of those people that went by education and tried to finish it as fast as I could because well… school’s boring. I know. Adults now will probably call me “stupid” and students now would probably go “you’re my hero”.

I’m no different from those students. I always thought, meh, I’ll be able to live life even if I work as a waitress my whole damn life. I know. How juvenile. Bear in mind, I was probably 18? Okay, I should have been maturing by then already.

Well, now I’m turning 21 and already I’m stressed about my future. What am I going to do? What will happen to me? Will I be able to survive? Am I going to be living off my parents my whole life? Why the hell didn’t I study or choose wisely back in school when I had the chance?

The reason why I think I screwed up badly would be because of yours truly’s choices in life.

Exhibit A:

IN PRIMARY SCHOOL, I had the opportunity to study harder for my 2nd language (Mandarin) since I started Primary 1 here in Singapore. Did I work hard? No. Instead, to get out of learning Mandarin in class, I cried in class when my Chinese teacher called me out to read simple words on the bored. That was the last of it. Ever since then, not one chinese teacher had ever tried to make me read things out the bored or really helped me. I became one of those students that were ignored. Obviously my mandarin will never get better that way. So at PSLE, I got an E for Mother Tongue and because of that it kind of pulled down my whole PSLE score.

They calculate your whole grades for PSLE, don’t they? I got pretty decent grades for English, Math, and Science. Then BAM! E for Mother Tongue. Well, damn you.

IN SECONDARY SCHOOL, I, naturally, ended up in Normal (A) class and I could’ve worked harder then to get good grades but … hehehehehe, I was growing up. I was stupid. I was lazy. That kind of sums my secondary school life choices.

IN POLYTECHNIC, now, I SHOULD’VE learnt my lesson by now and work hard but hey, I guess I was too accustomed to holidays and the supposed “freedom” polytechnic gives you that … I kind of screwed up my grades too.

AND NOW I SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES THAT COMES FROM MY STUPIDITY.

So …

If you have this opportunity to choose between the lists of double major degree programmes that Kaplan offers, how best would you use this skill to advance your life’s goals?

I would best be working hard on it.

Okay, that’s not good enough.

I think having the choice to study two programmes is really helpful for my future or my life goals at that. I realize now that Education is pretty important and like the wise always say, “you’re never too old to learn new things” and it really is actually true. Times always change. Things change. You got to adapt to it. The only thing that’ll probably hinder you from studying is well.. time, age, life.

As much as that saying is true, everyone do have their limit. The older you get, the harder it gets to learn new things.

So with Kaplan offering double major degree programmes, it’s kind of like a boost up in life right? Like that saying, killing two birds with one stone? If I could, I would definitely go for this programme more. One) I get to learn more things. Two) I can save some time and money too. Three) I get to learn more things. Hey, I’m a new person, I love to study now. So go figure ~

Singapore Seen is all about citizen journalism. Basically, it’s like reader’s digest without good grammar or good stories at that. The thing about Singapore Seen is that you get to “stomp” about the things that you spot in Singapore. The things you see. Weird scenes? Drama scenes? Or basically dumb signs that are just hilarious to you so you decide to share it with the whole world. That kind of thing. It sounds pretty much like 9gag now if you ask me … but no. 9GAG is the bomb, Singapore Seen … well… it’s … hard to explain.

So basically I was on that site a few minutes ago and I read this story:

GIRL GETS ALL EMO ON GUY AFTER JUST ONE DATE

Seeing as how I’m a girl, obviously, I thought that I’d probably understand her situation and she’s probably wronged. Yes, I like to make assumptions before actually reading something … but hey, I don’t really let that affect anything. I still read it didn’t I. *defensive* 

However, when I read the texts she actually sent to the guy, she reeked of desperation. I mean, no joke. For real, she sounded completely desperately cuckoo. No offence to her but hey, I understand having not much friends and getting played by a guy but she should seriously grow some backbone and know when to stand up for herself.

Let me share the pictures. Brace yourself, it’s a pretty long one-sided conversation (note: I didn’t add a few more pages of the conversation because… well, I think it’s enough to show how much the girl got really … not to be blunt, desperate):

See? There were many times in this conversation that I was screaming “OH MY GOSH, JUST STOP IT ALREADY” in my head.

The thing is this is her situation from how I understood the conversation:

Kevin and Her had a date. I’m guessing they did have sex seeing as how in the first few lines she talked about “having laid then getting chucked”. Now this girl asked him out again and he suddenly had plans after supposedly “just” waking up. Then the girl got all emotional wreck on him and can’t make a decision between keeping her pride and just going away or just be plain desperate. 

I understand the whole attachment to the dude since you guys had sex but … WHY DID YOU HAVE SEX WITH THIS GUY ON THE FIRST DATE IF YOU LIKE HIM SO MUCH? I don’t how true that saying is that if a guy really likes you, he won’t even think about fucking you … yet. But if it is true, then hey, why be loose?

It’s as much as your fault as the guy, and after that whole spam of texts… doesn’t it show that the guy’s a bit of a douche?

Girl pride, man! Where did it go? And I thought the guys here claimed that girls were snobs and are hard to get? This one … well, seemed pretty easy.

Okay, that’s mean of me to say. But I can’t help it! I can’t stand it when I see stupidity at act. I do stupid things. I do become desperate. I do get taken advantage of, but I make sure I choose to leave with head high if I already see it as meaningless. As much as the generation has changed, I think guys should still be romantic towards girls and well, do the courting. Yes, girls can ask guys out now but … sheesh, don’t do ALL the courting, girls. You’re not guys… yet. Unless you go bangkok and … you know.
